Introducing Picasa

Hear ye Hear ye!! If you love taking pictures & sharing a big bulk of them online with your friends & family to view, Picasa is the software you cannot miss. If you own a gmail account, you must use Picasa!!

From this snapshot of my Picasa interface, you notice that on the left side bar is the folders list. I've highlighted the 'pictures' folder in HUGE 2007. Just by doing that, I've put all 45 pictures into the tray on the bottom left of the screen. Then the 7 magic buttons - I'll introduce my favourite THREE::

Web Album: By clicking this button, you'll activate an interface that allows you to create a web album. Picasa is even able to detect all your previous albums, in case you would want to add more pictures into 1. After keying in the infos of the album, click OK & all your photos will be automatically uploaded onto your Picasa web album. That's right - no more having to browse for every single picture.

Email: If you have just taken photos of a group event & would want to distribute to all your friends, all you need to do is put all the photos you want on that tray, & click that Email button. The next interface you'll see your email account's (gmail or outlook) compose mail page, with all your photos already attached onto that email. You'll just have to get the addresses in there & click Send.

BlogThis!: You'd have probably figured out how this function works. Choose your photo(s), click on this button & the Blogger homepage will appear. The last time I checked, there's a 4-file limit for this function.

There are many other functions in Picasa such as making a movie with your photos, exporting as HTML page, basic photo editing etc... But I think my 3 points are more than enough reason for you to get a hold on PICASA. Think of it as your Italian girlfriend =)

Wacky Mamak

What could have made us laugh non-stop at this mamak stall?

Can you see where Ben is looking at?

Our mamak boss' little pouch on his apron had so many coins that it looked as if he grew a second penis on his tummy!!

Hospitalized Joe

I remember 15 years ago I was at the same hospital for the same operation. Only at that time my situation was much more critical than Joseph's. Look at him!! He doesn't even look sick!!

But there's one significant detail that must be shared - when he laughs, the side will hurt much more...
So start writing down your jokes, guys. Joseph's leaving hospital tomorrow, but the pain can still be activated with laughter. Go get him!! MUAHAHA....
